Overview

Odíhg Faqlùkēíh was founded durring the early 17th century in early spring of the year 1646, by Giant Mantis Wiegold. The establishment of Odíhg Faqlùkēíh suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Odíhg Faqlùkēíh which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Odíhg Faqlùkēíh was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Faqlùkēíh is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Odíhg Faqlùkēíh is buildings are built arround a single crampt cobblestone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Odíhg Faqlùkēíh's size could have. Unfortuantly, these well-designed, yet cheep are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Odíhg Faqlùkēíh is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife.

Civic Infrastructure

Cultural Notes

Odíhg Faqlùkēíh is led by one or more incompetents. While they must have been very good at something to have acquired the position, they are fundamentally incapable of leading. Uncontrolled passions or lusts, commitment to a hopelessly impractical ideal, pigheaded obstinacy in the face of failure, a total lack of charisma or interpersonal skills, or profound laziness might all unfit them for their post.

Odíhg Faqlùkēíh's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. It was best known for its rough, unfinished surfaces, unusual shapes, heavy-looking materials, straight lines, and small windows. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.

In Odíhg Faqlùkēíh every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.

The Howler near Odíhg Faqlùkēíh are known to be quite timid.

Odíhg Faqlùkēíh's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves creating small tokens to channel Transmutation energies of tier 3 via speaking in tongues.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Odíhg Faqlùkēíh was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Odíhg Faqlùkēíh lost 199 people, 227 livestock, and 91 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 156, when members of Odíhg Faqlùkēíh's militia enacted an operation to escort a particular vault to a safe location. The operation was complicated by gale force winds which drowned out orders and hampered ranged combat. The conflict ended with an assault and siege on the vault, which ended in defeat for Odíhg Faqlùkēíh's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Odíhg Faqlùkēíh's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
